THE FOUNDING DEVELOPER PLAN
Our planned offer is for developers who join the waitlist before launch. If Developer Pro launches, activate 12 months when you publish your first eligible project. Joining the list does not start the clock.
One benefit per developer. Eligibility dates and claim deadlines will be published before sign-ups open. No card to join and no automatic charge when the gift ends. Transaction and payment-processing fees are excluded.

Yes. Validate an undelivered feature or a new platform version with prepaid backing, and compare which promotion sources bring paying backers. For example, an iOS app could test demand for an Android version. Each campaign needs a clear development goal, delivery plan and backer benefits. Ordinary sales of existing products are a later direction; campaigns and payments are not live yet.
Yes. Start by sharing a clear demo and project page in relevant communities or your own posts. The planned tools help you understand the response. Category and platform browsing are part of our future discovery experience; we do not promise an existing audience or guaranteed exposure.
They may want the problem solved, value the stated early-backer offer, and want to follow progress or give feedback. A project could offer app credit or a subscription at launch. The demo, scope, delivery plan and refund choices help them decide; each project must explain its own benefits.
No. A consumer prepays to support a specific app and receives that app’s promised benefits. Developer Pro is a separate membership that a developer buys from BackNewApp for extra tools. The free Pro year covers that membership, not consumer backing payments or transaction fees.
Independent developers and small teams building consumer apps or web products, including those planning a new feature or platform version for an app that is already live. Whether you code by hand or with AI, you can join. The future discovery platform is for the people who want to use these products.
You do not need a finished app to join the early founder list; an idea is enough. To run a future campaign, show a demo of the new app, feature or platform version and explain its delivery scope and backer benefits. Clearly separate what already works from what is still to be built.
Users prepay after seeing a demo. When the goal is met, the developer delivers the stated app, feature or platform version and the promised benefits. For example, $1 could earn app credit or one month of its subscription; this is illustrative, not a fixed offer. If the goal is missed, the developer can cancel and refund all backers in full to the original payment method, or publish a plan to continue with the promised benefits intact. Backers can then choose to stay or receive a full refund to the original payment method. Any changes to scope or delivery dates must be disclosed. These choices will be explained before payment; response windows, settlement, fees and rules for delayed or failed delivery will be defined before payments open.
Not yet. We’re preparing the first founder cohort. This page introduces the concept; the project preview is illustrative. There are no live campaigns or payments, and we don’t yet promise a built-in audience.
